Yard Sale !!!!!
OK :
Just got home from doing the "Hiway 11" yard sale : supposed to be over 800 miles of stuff in various spots :
Went South ( from Niota ) yesterday apx. 45 miles : numerous stops !
Went North today (apx. 45 miles ) : Numerous stops !
Seen plenty of Guns & Gun stuff : all overpriced !!!
Seen plenty of JUNK !!! Not as many 'places' as the few years before ???
Bought : One golf putter ( $ 2.00 , makes apx. 50 now I own ) , Dont ask , I dont even play the stupid game !
A Uniden 'police scanner' (makes bout 10-12 now ) , It works , $ 5.00 ,
A Universal giant t.v. remote ( new in package) for T.V. (remote stopped working) , this one will NOT do the t.v. ??? only $ 1.00 ? ,
A used but nice & clean small coffee maker , I broke mine the other day ? Used it this morning : after running vinegar thru it ???
a few other silly such items ( cheap ) ! Had fun : just dissapointed ???

We went to an estate sale today. Found a La-Z-Boy reclining couch that's identical to the La-Z-Boy reclining couch and reclining love seat that we have. Except this one is like new and our couch is getting a bit on the worn side.
When it was new we paid $1,700 bucks for ours. Got the one at the estate sale for $350.
So it looks like I got out of buying a new living room suite and the wife is happy. Life is good.

I love hitting yard sales - especially a yearly one that?s about 30 miles long. Lots of fun stuff to look at. 0
