At least one University is giving out an honorary Doctorate Degree.

  Have to say I do not have any heartburn with this case.
  
  She was expelled from the university in 1956 simply because she was black.
  
  She has gone on to earn her Bachelors from another school and when the university finally got around to annulling the expulsion in 1988 she enrolled again and earned her Masters Degree in 1991.
  
  The Honorary Doctorate Degree happens all the time to politicians, business men and entertainers. In her case she did not let prejudice hold her back in the 50s.
