Florida Permit Renewal Running Very Slow...
I sent off my renewal paperwork for my Florida gun permit on January 31st and I made a call and found out that it was just mailed out this morning on May 16th. It expired 8 days ago. It took longer to renew this time than it did when I originally applied for the permit years ago.
They must be spending all their money on the illegals and don't have time for less important things.

The one in charge of that is now a democrat Fried?s position on gun control has already made news.
She has said she wants to review how the department under Putnam handled the concealed weapons permitting process.0 -
How do they get around a "Shooting Qual.? " Is it not necessary?
The TN. Permit system is an enormous PITA. Take the day off and drive to the Regional DMV. (About an hour and a half each way.) Pay $150 for a "Background Check." Get sent to the Local UPS store for "fingerprinting." (WTF?) The Regional DMV, with several Sherriff's officers present, can not perform this task?
Get your paperwork. Apply to take another full day off work, for a 3-4 hour long class, designed for Imbeciles. Another shooting session to follow the class. (Again, Imbeciles in attendance.) [Another $50, by the way.]
Maybe several months later, you are good to go. (What a ClusterF**k.)0 -
I renewed online, and had my new card in 8 days. 0 -

How often do you have to do this?
In other words, how long is the permit valid (needs to be renewed)?0 -

I renewed on line too but I had to mail in the finger print card. When you're out of state they make you mail in a new finger print card each time you renew which seems silly to me.0 -
Yea,...all residents have to do is attach a current 'passport style' photo to the app, and give 'em their money. They let you shoot your own photos now, as long as you follow the proper format and crop it correctly. You probably know that though.Smitty500mag wrote:Marc1301 wrote:I renewed online, and had my new card in 8 days.

I was surprised that the new 'Lib' Agriculture Commissioner hadn't set up a whole new set of hoops to make people jump through,...........give her time. :roll:0
