Took the Redevous out today on what I call less than ideal conditions and well, let's just say opened it up- WHEW, Cornering was soft but the straightaways was a different story. Let's just call it that - :x

I have owned both a Corvette and a mid engine Pantera. The Pantera handled much better than the Vette.

Mid engine is the only way to go.

Yep. Hydraulic clutch cylinder, I did not have duel intakes. ZF trans axle. The cross brace supports the fiberglass trunk.

Miss my old 71 vette. The mid engine concept is a long time coming. With or without the corvette is a great value when compared to much of the competition in classic performance. The fiberglass body certainly separates the vette from most other production sport cars

Undercarrige aside. You will never find any body cancer on a vette. Makes corvettes a great collector car.

This new design will put a whole new paint job on what a Corvette ever was but what should've been. Very interesting.

    On another note,the ZR1 still isn't as fast as a gt2rs with a wee little flat 6 and almost a 70hp disadvantage. :D

Here was mine ( I had a little fun at county ops, set a couple magnetic signs and a spare light bar. Made the mechanics nervous).

    :D

The wife had a Fiero when I met her.

I always thought of it more as a rear engine than a mid-engine.

ln case you didn't know Ferrari currently offers BOTH front AND rear engine MODELS.. Current FRONT engine Ferraris are the ''599 GTO'' and the Ferrari California roadster..They make Both because the factory knows front engine models are more practical for every day street use.. l hope this wont go unnoticed at Corvette Motors. Even Porsche offers front engine moels from time to time

I have probably owned around 50 Corvettes maybe more. Condolences on owning the Corvair . Looking forward of buying a newer or new Corvette.
