16 years ago yesterday in 2003 I brought her home from the Chevy dealer. She was shiny and new and now after 16 years and about 73,000 miles she's still shiny and looks like she's new.

I bought a loaded 04 Silverado Z-71 4x4 new, (same head lights as yours) and it's been a Hoss around here......224K miles and only mechanical problem has been a water-pump replacement, other than that normal things like brake pads, batteries, tires etc. It still looks good just normal dings etc., I drive it pretty much daily because my 2016 stays in the shop due to minor BS going wrong. Highly recommend you keep yours, they age well.....I plan to 0 -
13 years ago this month I bought a new 4 cylinder Toyota Tacoma. It has 358,000 miles on the clock, and looks like hell, but the interior held up ok, and it's still running. When we were working my wife and I drove 45 miles each way to work and back. On different schedules so we couldn't ride together. I don't think I've ever driven under 5,000 miles a year since I got my first driver's license in 1971. My used '97 F350 dually diesel has 210,00 on it, and my 2014 F250 4WD is just about to turn 100,000. My 2005 Harley has over 50,000. 0 -
I wouldn't expect to see any 16 year old Fords look like that. Folks use Fords to get work done. 0 -
Out standing looking. I bought my 2003 chevy with the intent it would be my retirement truck, after I retired. Only have 43000 miles on it, always kept it in side. I don't have the extended cab, I wanted the long bed. Finally bought first set of new tires for it last year. 0 -
nice lookin rig.....all the vehicles got way over what i will pay now ..have to run out my older ones.....once in a while i wish i had a full size pickup ..hard to find an older low mile on...close to me is around a late 60's ford 4wd pkup with a few thousand miles on it and it will stay in the shed till the old timer dies....hasn't moved in YEARS 0 -

Some of those old farmers would buy a new pickup to spend some wheat money and just park the old pickup. Used to have to wait until the farm sale to buy it out of the shelter belt! Don0 -

Me either. Since I bought this truck I put almost a half a million miles on 2 Mitsubishi Galant's and another 93,000 on a Hyundai Sonata. The truck sits in the garage most of the time until I need it to tow or haul something.0 -

I've got over 230,000 on it and it's still going strong, though. Had to replace the right front wheel bearing and the gauge cluster, other than that she just keeps chuggin' along.0
