While I rarely watch local news other than Fox, Mary is one of the better anchors here. I didn't see the interview but she really should have known better than to ask that question in this liberal bastion of race baiters. 15 years of service down the drain in 1 statement. It was a valid question and she is being vilified for it. Hopefully she will catch on somewhere else.

What Mary should have said was:

"Baltimore has been controlled by Democrats for the last 50+ years; do you think that the voters should try a different direction, & vote in Republicans to run the city?"

    Nothing offensive in that statement.

Neal, these a****les would find a reason to pillory her for even a statement like that. They?re not drinking the koolaid, they?re injecting the stuff.

The truth is what got her fired. You can not state the obvious and get away with it today. Unless you toe the Marxist line you will be punished.

Lord Baltimore would be saddend at his namesake in shambles. Yes, Baltimore another example of failed democratic leadership.
The truth shall set most decent folk free but not the lost.

This firing illustrates examples of how the downward cycle of democrat socialist programs the ignorant sheeple that inhabit places like Baltimore.
Unfortunaly for the minority of decent folk who also live in Baltimore many are trapped in a jungle of dispare.

Shame but many places in our great country are headed in this same direction as Baltimore due to the same failed plans.

I retired from a rare what-used-to-be-great federal agency. During the latter half of my career I watched it get destroyed by "Affirmative Action" putting unqualified minorities in positions of importance.

I'm just too old to care anymore...but I cry for my grand children.

Here's another post about "free speech" firing. Free speech is fast becoming a thing of the past for those who lean a certain way. Wouldn't mind it so much if it was 50 / 50.

It's both political parties that get elected that has caused the rotten condition of our state of affairs here. They play both sides off to their own ends to get that big federal pensions with the perks now and later in life. Soon the dance and song will be over and it will be time to pay the fiddler!

    Agree

    SEVERAL POINTS:

DEMOCRATs don't want to know the truth and they have a complicit media to lie and cover for them.

DEMOCRATs and the media continue to lie almost every time their lips move even when telling the truth would be beneficial

DEMOCRATs are in absolute control of Baltimore and over 90% of people in Baltimore vote DEMOCRAT.

Despite the societal abyss, high murder rate, high property crime rate, and poverty, DEMOCRAT voters blame
Trump for the sad situation they themselves create.

Another leftist media member's career dies by the same hatchet she's probably wielded to destroy others. Let me check my sympathy meter...wait...nope no movement...maybe the sensitivity is set to low at "who gives a f#$%"

It doesn't matter where you are or what party you belong to. The truth is inconvenient. It gets in the way of every ones warm fuzzy feelings. Lets fire or impeach someone so that we can fool ourselves into thinking we've accomplished something. Lets keep everyone in an uproar over everything under the sun to keep them entertained. Then we will make some meaningless law or sue someone to show how much we care. For example suing the drug companies over opioids. Suing them won't cure the problem and any costs and losses from the lawsuits will just get passed on to the patients who need their products. If you think I am ticked off about all political correctness, politicians, and the general stupidity of the population, you might be on to something. Bob
