    I mow the yard and carry a small .22 ..just in case of a snake or wild dog. I suggest a .44 Mag for you.

    I might start carrying. Usually the sounds of the tractor will scare them away. I should carry when out in the woods getting firewood but I already am wearing so much gear that a gun gets in the way.

    Doesn't do much good if left on the tractor, my logging winch has 100 ft of cable so may be too far away from tractor if I need the gun.
