Osage City had 80MPH winds and heavy hail golf ball sized. Have you talked to anybody at the lake?

Yea well Kansas pretty much sucks. Nothing to see and either too hot or too cold. Stay safe man.

?? how long have you been living in Kansas? happens all the time and nothing happens. put a blanket over your windshield, go to the basement until it's gone, you'll be fine.

seen hundreds of frightening wall clouds, dozens of swirling clouds trying to make a tornado, maybe a half dozen actual tornadoes, so much hail the only time it really impressed me anymore was that one time I was standing ankle deep in quarter sized hail. hell one time me and a friend were watching the wind blowing in two directions on different sides of the street, 30 mph each way.

    ain't no big deal.

the bow of the west storm pushed the stationary storm northeast sliding by us on the west side of here..we will get a rain when the forward bow passes thru but should be no problem ...weird...never seen one like this...

and then another line of rain formed up behind the first...i went to bed...and another line cme across this morn ?? lucky all we got was 3/10ths and some strong wind with a great light show, no damage.....have to go into the co-op coffee liars clubs and see what else went on some where in a history book (civil war i think) the combatants watched one afternoon as two very large and active t-storms grew up in the afternoon with both very loud with one a reddish color and the other very dark...story told how they came together and really made a huge show of violent weather while the watchers stood the calm sunlight....wish i could remember where this story was told in detail...don't think it has stopped raining at the lake place and i will have to check in with neighbor and see if the house os still there....this all is supposed to continue coming across thru Wednesday...and i got another coon in the live trap last night...#4

We had a tornado go over our house recently. We were under the 3rd tornado warning for the night and in the basement. That was the first time in over 17 years I could hear the wind while in the basement. My wife was about to have a hissy fit. The tornado did touch down and do some damage before it got to us, but thankfully it didn't touch down near us. :o

Thanks for the updates, Spasmcreek, as I am no longer in Kansas, but on the road.
