Doris Day has died at 97
My childhood sweetheart has gone to the other side . She was a good actor/singer in her day. Time waits for no one. May she rest in peace.

Doris Day, who used her girl-next-door good looks to charm American audiences during a decades-long acting and singing career, died on Monday. She was 97.
Best known for her wistful song "Que Sera, Sera," Day passed away surrounded by close friends at her home near Carmel Valley, California, the Doris Day Animal Foundation said in a statement.
She "had been in excellent physical health for her age, until recently contracting a serious case of pneumonia," according to the foundation. She had just turned 97 on April 3.

I remember watching her show in black and white back in the 50's. Her show was sponsored by Chevrolet and she sang the jingle "See the USA in your Chevrolet". What an innocent time for a kid. :P 0 -

I had a huge crush on her also.
The shoes are pretty lady but what made her beautiful was her look up innocence, I figured if a filthy word ever came out of her mouth the world was ending.
It's too bad that a good wholesome lady like her had to go yet you have all sorts of trailer trash actresses still living0 -
