The idea of life in prison is a joke. Free room, board, medical, education, etc. That none of the people who have died would ever get. Te cost to the tax payers is out ragous. They have a speedy trail an then right out to the gallows. We need more judges. Like Roy Beam. just my opinion.

I would like to the judicial system revamped some. I believe if you have done something so bad as to warrant more than 20 years in prison you should be executed.

In the tapestry of American life and American jurisprudence, the warmth of 'no doubt quilty' is a rare animal.

A blanket approach is never 100%, though tossing first responders and/or engaged citizens a comforter of protection against prosecution when actively engaging may provide a measure of relief from the sleepless nights that accompany such actions.

I have a somewhat perverted sense of what the justice system should be.

For most FIRST offenses, a probation or minor fine.

Second time felony, short time {1 to 3 years} jail time.

Third felony, Long time in the slammer...NO sentence/charge dealing down.

There would be no such thing such as having 14 DUI convictions. After 3 you would be driving only to the mess hall in prison with your sneakers.

ANY person shooting or engaging in a fire fight with LEO's , does not get to trial. You gave up all your rights, except for a free burial, when you threw down on a cop.

I think 3 felonies and you should be given all the fentanyl you want. That should be the criteria for a career criminal, and we do not need career criminals back on the street. That would use some of the fentanyl that's been confiscated, and I can't think of a better use of it.
