I thinking seriously bout a new "laptop" , hence I know Nothing bout these things !

I do good to check emails and get on GunBroker !

Any suggestions ? Yes price is an issue !!!

  anything you buy will be most sufficient for that. therefore you can go with the most basic computer, lowest price, and base your decision on reliability. none of them have good customer support anymore. you don't need Microsoft Office. just get a free or inexpensive e-mail client, or use webmail. all browsers such as Chrome or Firefox are free and there are 20 to choose from. and you're set.

  If all you do is email/streaming etc. a Chromebook will generally be the least expensive route.
