The'NEED' for illegal immigrants

or maybe just more immigrants is often supported by some because some industries have openings and no one will fill them.

Therefore, more immigrants are needed for these industries to operate.

I say B.S. !!

If an effort were made to REQUIRE those able mentally and physically on welfare to actually WORK for their money, there would be a glut of job applicants. And toss in those that are scamming the disability program too.

    why do they need illegal immigrants, when plain ol' immigrants will do the same thing?

    or is it they just don't want to say they need illegal immigrants to do the work nobody else wants, for half price and 12 hours a day and no employee insurance and no unemployment payments and no workmen's comp etc.etc.

    maybe that's why they need illegal immigrants.

    DEMOCRATs need them for their votes. Lavish them with tax payer paid freebees and entitlements in return for a lifetime of votes................ Assimilation not required.

    I do agree - able bodied people are abusing the system. If they were encouraged to work "work or lose benefits" I'm sure that there'd be so few openings for illegals that we'd be able to stop this invasion.

    when i first started planting irrigated soybeans many years ago i could get mexs to walk and rogue the fields pulling out weeds...most were family units and their friends...and did good work...then for some years one could not find any to hire as the younger generation had figured out it was easier to tap into our FREE social services and take it easy...i walked them myself till round up ready gene altered soybeans came on the market and i could spray...those years finished wearing my knees and ankles out......all the wailing we NEED them to do farm work.....actually only a very low single digit number are employed in ag work...thin the welfare and disability role to the really needy and set a work or go hungry agenda

    I do agree - able bodied people are abusing the system. If they were encouraged to work "work or lose benefits" I'm sure that there'd be so few openings for illegals that we'd be able to stop this invasion.
    Problem is you'd need to let them starve in the street, increased crime and street beggars. No one is just going to lay down and die, but shortly the others would "get the hint" and the invasion would slow down.

    The world wide "optics" of this scenario would be hard to stand up against.

    Nope: Build the wall, fix immigration, stop chain migration, no more "visa lottery" and enforce the refugee laws.
    ie: In order to be considered a refugee in the U.S., an individual must: be located outside of the U.S. be of specific humanitarian apprehension for the U.S. be able to validate previous persecution or feared approaching persecution based on the individual's race, religion, nationality, social class, or political outlook.

    Youre 100% correct. We can solve this problem. But we won't. As soon as here are pictures of poor illegal urchins starving, we will cave.

    So long as illegal immigrants' employers don't have to pay the full cost of their care, they'll be able to make some money off them, even though they can be a net debit to society.

    Yes,.....the fix for the mess we are in involves putting the companies hiring them out of business, and sending the owners to prison for lengthy terms, as well as seizing their assets.

    Around here lettuce ain't gonna pick it's self and the mech. lettuce picker ain't here yet.

    I would love to see whites, blacks, Other Than Mexican (OTMs) out in the fields. Also at $15 an hour can you imagine if OTMs picked lettuce how long it would take to do an acre or the cost of a head of lettuce? I doubt no one would want to pay $10 a head for plain old non organic iceberg lettuce.

    Politicians have two concerns. One is getting elected the other is reelection. Therein is the need for illegals and thier votes for exchange of free bees the demorats give them.

    audit the system ...NO CHIT CHET...one big guy from our little town on disability ..said his back hurt....he did NOT want anybody with a camera around him...so he drove 25 miles to another town and worked a couple years in a HEALTH CLUB..till he got spooked....now there is a little sign in his yard he fixes bicycles....ought to be good for one a month
