Attorney General Barr tells Dems to ?stop using the criminal justice process as a political weapon?

Latest development,, DIMS want to have attorneys ask Barr questions,, anyone guess why? I'll help, it's because they are to eat up with the D.A and incapable of asking intelligent questions. Plus Barr makes them look like the idiots they are,, except Maxine,, and we already know how big of an idiot she is. :shock:

The hearing provided the attorney general his most extensive opportunity yet to explain the department?s actions. On Thursday, Barr is slated to testify before the House Judiciary Committee regarding the report.

    Can you provide information on how you determined Barr is Anti Second Amendment? Or maybe this is a dose of GB propaganda?

    This was his confirmation testimony in Jan. of 2019.
    The Hon. William P. Barr:

    ?Sure. I think I opposed an assault weapon ban because I felt that was really sort of the aesthetics of the gun.

    Since that time Heller has been decided. Actually, before Heller, I did work on OLC on this issue, and I personally concluded that the Second Amendment creates a personal right, under the Constitution.

    It's based on the Lockean notion of the right of self-preservation. It's tied to that. I was glad to see Heller come out and vindicate that initial view that I had.

    And so there is no question under Heller that the right to have weapons, firearms, is protected under the Second Amendment and is a personal right. At the same time there is room for reasonable regulation.

    From my standpoint, what I would look for, in assessing a regulation, is what is the burden on law-abiding people and is it proportionate to whatever benefit, in terms of safety and effectiveness, will be conferred.

    As I said, just a moment ago, lets get down to the real problem we are confronting, which is keeping these weapons out of the hands of people who are mentally ill. I think all the rest of this stuff is really, essentially rhetoric, until we get that problem dealt with; in terms of regulatory approaches.?

    Above is the first link I'll answer, I'll get to them all but this link pertains to my original post. The link you posted had text accusing Barr of wanting to confiscate guns and the page is biased to the extreme saying Barr has an "agenda" espousing confiscation and supported by the following headline.

    IE: The slant is so bad it can only be thought of as Fake news Propaganda written with a CNN twist.

    Notice how the wording in your link says "confiscation" and the link to the second (original) says "important we can do for gun control" and SURPRISE it talks about reasonable gun control for MENTALLY ILL GUN OWNERS and not one word about confiscation.
