Oprah Racist?

I was looking at why Oprah wouldn't take Trump on for 2020 and ran across this quote by Oprah, ?And so it?s not something that interests me. I don?t have the DNA for it. ... That?s not for me.?

Didn't she just say that black people don't have the DNA to be president? What did she mean?


I was thinking Oprah should be Trumps VP, I can't imagine how the libs would react.

    DNA controls so many aspects of what makes a person a person, there's no way it could be construed to only mean the color of her skin. Obviously referring to temperament, in context.... something controlled by DNA as well.

    Oprah is an educated, rich woman. If she meant personality, why not say so? Is there some subliminal message we don't know about?

    She could have said temperament, disposition, or any number of terms but specifically said DNA. One person thinks she meant "A" another thinks she meant "B" so on and so forth. But DNA is the coding that makes up who we are.

    I have to wonder if she is pulling the Poor Me, I'm black card, but can't because she is rich and powerful, so in the underhanded way uses DNA instead of saying personality or disposition. What do you think?

    Saying because of personality or disposition would be taking responsibility, using dna is kicking the can down the road and leaving the blame card open. Carefully crafted or just a slip? Did I mention she is a rich black woman who is well educated?

    she is smart enough to know just ride out the gravy train as is

    I don't imagine there are many folks of color who aren't racist.
    It's encouraged even.
    Maybe it's in their DNA.
