    I know a guy who used to be happy and now he is vegan...

    No tofurkey or fakin bacon or soy bean sandwich...

    The closest one should approach to veganism is apple wood smoked bacon.

    A cow is nature's amazing method to produce steaks from grass - so at the fundamental level beef is just a delivery method for leafy greens - the whopper is vegan if you use round about logic...

    It does not take a village to raise a child - that's what whopper juniors are for.

    Navy beans and PB&J sandwiches supplemented with soy and tofu simulacrum substitute substances that would make a Billy goat puke.

    OMG don't pass me the vegan MRE - there is not enough Tabasco sauce in the world to make that a palatable choice.

    But as previously noted since taco bell defines beef as any amalgamation of byproducts containing at least 22% USDA grade C offal there tacos might legally qualify as vegan or meatless...

    I consider this a concession to the weirdo faction rather than a real menu item.
    Based on convenient location and prices, I eat @ BK most of the time when I'm out working. Considering the "clientele"(farmers, construction workers, and LEO's), the local (if 40 miles away is local) is the safest place to eat in the area.

    Warren Buffett is 88 years old and burger / coke chemicals appear to have contributed to his long life. If he'd start eating (food) in bed like Hugh Hefner he'd live to 100+ :shock:

    Do they flame broil the soy patty on the same grill with the delicious ground beef burgers???

    Or is there now a faux meat - synthetic sinew only vegan peep surface...

    Can I get bacon on my vegan whopper???

    Currently the fries are cooked in oil that contains beef fat - so they are non vegan veggies???

    I consider a vegan to be an utter hypocrite if he/she eats anything that was once alive. If you're raising a living organism with the purpose of being killed for food, what difference does it make if it's a soybean or a steer?

    Except it was not eating food in bed that kept Hefner going it was the company he had in the bed.

    Yes, Here I am sitting here, (minding my own business) [again] - and I get dragged in to yet another "meatless," food venue. Sigh..........................................................................................................................................


    Okay, Yes - I had about 14 of the new "Ultimate Cheesy Nacho Tacos," on the way home Friday. ($1.00 each.) Bonus was the quesso cheese sauce, sour cream and tomatoes, on top of the lettuce and shredded (non-cheese?) Cheese.

    "Make it Spicy," meant that you got 4-7 fresh sliced Jalapenos on each one. Mmnnn, good.......................

    Was about 3-4 lbs of food, (?) For $15.

    I found it very enjoyable.

    7 Friday evening. 3 more early Sat, afternoon. 4 more towards the evening. Damn good cheap fare.

    Vegetarian means they are good for you, right? :o:D:lol:




    (But) Joy, Joy,.........................a Store/Deli I stop off on, on a regular basis on the way home from work, has now introduced an extensive Taco, and Chimichango menu.(!) I also learned that our local high end Mexican restaurant (Pablanos) has "Taco Tuesdays." (.99 cent Tacos.)


    Is Life good or what?

    It's not like vegans spend time in Burger King. Figure the fake-burger is cooked on where animal flesh is prepped and then cooked. That's why if I opened a eating joint I couldn't in good conscience accommodate vegetarian/vegan/halal/kosher folks. Besides in this day and age if you served a regular Whopper to a "vegetarian" you'll get sued. So why risk it for $5.00?

    I guess nobody thought my earlier post through. Nor do most vegans when I spring it on them. Eventually (after they agree with the "no living thing" premise) they come to the realization that EVERYTHING we eat was once alive. If you eliminate living things from your diet completely, all you're left with is rocks and water.

    Which is what I say vegans should live on.
