My wife and i are going on a 3 day trip to see what we can see in that little of time.

I told her all i want to see is the memorial museum and the rest of the stuff is up to her.

    assume you are talking about the 9-11 memorial...if so pass along my condolences also and think about how we are supposed to treat muslims as special now.....have a good time

    I would suggest a visit to the Intrepid. (And) An evening Dinner Cruise circumnavigating the Island.

    The 9/11 Memorial was not completed when I left that area. 2011'ish.

    Hit a few true Jewish Delis, (can go online to get a review of the best several.) and get a Corned Beef on Rye, or a Reuben Sandwich. Mmmmmnnnnnnnnn,............................Mmmmmnnnnn.......................... :D

    Juniors of the cheesecake fame has diners and bakeries and delis throughout new York City...

    My last job was with and the food is second to none - especially Jewish delicatessen fare.

    Comedy clubs are the hot spot now as the stand up renaissance is in full bloom and new York has one of the most prolific and talented scenes in north America.

    You could visit the trump building where the family still retains residence and tweak the stupid snowflake kind by offering supportive comments...

    The public library is epic.

    Empire State Building observation deck...

    Grand central station...

    Skip the subway and yellow cabs.

    My wife is going in July with friends, not me.... I've never been and have no desire to so I can't recommend anything :D , I am/was a John Rocker fan who was drummed out of baseball for his predictions on the city prior to 9/11.........turned out he was right ;)

    Out of the 3 observation decks we went to: Empire State Building, Freedom Tower and 30 Rock, I thought 30 Rock had the best view. Not the highest view, but the best overall view.

    Public library is good.

    We took a boat ride around Manhattan. That was what I enjoyed most.

    Wasn't impressed or disappointed with the USS Intrepid. Guess I've seen plenty of military displays and museums.

    If you want to go inside the Statue of Liberty, you better get there first thing in the morning. Tickets go fast.

    I'm not a musical guy, but the Mrs. wanted to go to a Broadway play. We went to Wicked. I was very impressed with the production level of it. I would go to another. Expect to pay some serious $$$ for the better known productions.

    go for the food.

    And not the same thing you find from where you live.

    Hit the smaller family run restaurants.

    You may not like everything, but try them all.

    Never been there, but would like to visit Grant's Tomb and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They have a few one of a kind Kentucky longrifles there that would be cool to see!
