Tots are wonderful, but are best only when deep fried.

I am too lazy to fire up the deep fryer for the marvelous morsels, but will take advantage of the opportunity when they are available at a restaurant.

Ribeye, rare; garden salad and tater tots.

Yes, you sometimes have to inspect the kids menu to check availability.

Fish sticks however? No thank you.

Tots are about the only thing I prefer baked over fried. I like them just barely cooked. ;)
The mini tots are delicious too.

Really digging them Ore Ida Tots. Ran out of the big bag earlier this week so I picked up another bag. Since Gorton's fish pieces were close by and hadn't had that in a while so, that's what I'm having this weekend.

One of my favorite meals. Unfortunately, I?m off that kind of food for a while.

It was Mrs Paul's Fish Sticks when I was a kid. That was long before Ore Ida got the brilliant idea to scrape up all the waste potato goo left over from making fries and hash browns and smooshing it into little cylinders they could sell instead of composting.

I still get a craving for fish sticks now and again.

I like nostalgia but it's not as good as it once was...

When I was little we would plant tater tots in the garden. I used to love to dig me up with the tater tot rake. I see you can buy 8 lbs bags of them. That would take at least a gallon of ketchup.

I never met a potato I didn't like, but Tots are at the top of my list. Meal fit for a king? Rib steak grilled rare, and oven done tots. KC Masterpiece Hickory and Brown Sugar, or Honey and Molasses on the steak, ketchup on the Tots. Fresh ground black pepper on all. Dang, that's some fine cracker!
