Washington State...really weird bill that could become law

Those people are nuts! It's hard to believe this could be true.

    giving your loved ones a proper burial in a coffin in a cemetery where you can visit them occasionally, must be a Negative Burial.

    throwing them on a trash heap to rot must be a Positive Burial.

    liberal hippie logic and if something that stupid passes you know which way the prevailing political winds are blowing.

    Cremation would be a better choice. Keep the ashes around for rememberance or ???? if one doesn't want to remember them blow them away, which reminds me of a joke.

    I think I read somewhere that the "recycled" part referred to "cremains" . (ASHES only)

    It has become popular in certain locales amongst certain groups to lay out a corpse in the open and let nature take its course - or to bury in a natural shroud with no embalming or funeral preparations and let nature take its course...

    One group puts you in a hole and plants a tree on top - in rows like an orchard...

    You can have your cremated ashes turned into building blocks for coral reefs...

    One company will use your remains to create an artificial diamond or gem stone...

    And I have not even scratched the surface on this topic.

    While I personally will probably be cremated I don?t have a problem with it. If that?s how a person wants to be sent on then that?s ok. Is it weird? Ya but I find going to eat at a reception right after a funeral weird lol. It?s not like they will be gathering up bodies to make into compost that you?re going to go buy at Walmart.

    or is cremation the devils hidden agenda thru the front door of hell....??? otherwise being temporarily pickled so ya don't smell before the funeral is over seems a big bonus for mortuaries ......ol Judd is dead and we are running out of ice!!....aaaaaaaaaaand....,yer gonna rot in the casket/vault whatever .....while being laid on a scaffold to weather in the wind seems almost vegan.....well, a landlord i rented farm ground from worked for about 2 years at one of wichita's biggest modern cemeteries after retiring out of an aircraft job and told me EVERY grave reopened for whatever reason had the vault FULL of water.....but who the hell ever checks their waterproof warranty anyway (probably only a "lifetime" warranty)..... guess i'll take the barby and be sprinkled here at home to be with my cat and dog buddies that have gone ahead...... really miss em

    I know of one company that will use your ashes as a shot buffer, and load up a box or two of No. 7 and a halfs- so your friends can take you dove hunting one more time.

    They're talking about the same process used to dispose of cadavers after they've been used for "Gross
    Anatomy" in med schools.

    It just turns the remains into a "goo" than can be easily disposed of. This old farm boy doesn't see any connection with that and "composting" :roll:

    There's a branch of one of the eastern religions that lays out the corpse of deceased members and where the vultures can "recycle" the bodies. That would be more like composting.
