Talking About Failure To Launch
I had a friend of mine stay at home until 34 or 35. He would not have left then if he did not meet a girl and end up getting married.
However he worked since he was 14 or 15. He was just cheap and saved every penny he could get. We worked together for 12 years after i got out of the military and moved back home. If he bought a drink he would not get a pack of nabs. If he got nabs he would not get a drink.
He had 1 thing in life and that was to be a millionaire. He asked why i would drink drinks and eat nabs 3 or 4 times a day. I told him if i am hungry i am going to eat and if i am thirsty i am going to drink. He would not go on vacation so he would not spend money.
I was friends with his dad and he would talk junk to me about having to buy another house so he could get away from him. He was willing to give his son the house and move except for the wife.
He did pay about 200 a month for room and food. He did buy supper every friday night for his parents. LOL

'Nabs'= NABISCO cheese crackers. Usually 4 sandwich filled pack with with cheese or peanut butter centers.. Sold in convenience stores/gas stations.

They were right about the nabs plus they are called 4 corners also.

He is married now. He got married about 5 or 6 years ago around 46. He has 2 kids about 4 about 5.
We are the same age at 53. I can not imagine having 2 little kids at my age. 2 grandkids are older than that. 3 are almost that age. Its all my wife and i can do to keep up with the little ones.0
