Brunch
I made Grillades and Grits for Brunch and am doing a shrimp boil for dinner.
Grillades and Grits is a real old fashion New Orleans dish. The Grillades are small cuts of round steak fried up in a gravy and the Grits have to be old fashion stone ground white grits like PALMETTO FARMS
I follow this recipe:
https://www.daringgourmet.com/new-orleans-grillades-and-grits/
I leave out Celery because I don like it cooked.
I have 2# of 16-20 Shrimp fresh from the coast of NC and some real LA andoulli sausage a buddy sent me. The sausage is hand made and smoked by a Mennonite Butcher in Marksville LA. I have pound of those little red taters and some corn on the cob.
That is some good eating!

We had a huge potluck between the Sunrise Service and regular service at church today.....Ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, egg casserole, home made biscuits and gravy, fruit, sweet rolls and the list goes on. Nothing like a huge potluck at church....I am still full !!!! 0 -
