"Complaints or criticism about GunBroker.com, its staff, its policies, or any buyer or seller on that site. If you have a problem with an auction transaction use the auction feedback system and/or contact tech support".

    I read that someplace.... ;)

Penny auction means that it starts out at one penny oh, it has nothing to do with the price it will sell for

I guess I don't understand it either, ANY auction without a stated starting bid can be a "Penny Auction" but why even state that it's a penny auction if in fact there is a reserve?
Don't think it's "false advertising" but at least misleading ....... (to me anyway).

Don't kid yourself, if it cannot be won for a penny, it is not a penny auction. Just scumbag sellers exploiting the good will of the penny auction. If you don't call em on it, it will continue and dilute the penny auction.

If it starts at a penny and you're high bid at the end for ONE CENT that's what you pay.

There is a minimum bid after a PENNY that might be a small amount of money to keep people to going over the current bid by a penny.
Shill bidding is when someone bids on an item to artificially increase its price, desirability, or search standing. ... However, when someone bidding on an item knows the seller, they might have information about the seller's item that other shoppers aren't aware of.

The highlighted "red" would be a dishonest seller leaving out some information or "crappy pictures" to allow a friend to come in low but anyone could contact the seller for more information.

Don't see why gunbroker would care about dealers, friends, relatives or even the seller bidding and the end they will all pay a commission on the sale.

    IMHO

Sounds exactly what a reserve is designed for (blue).
