SHUSH Act

Gun Owners of America is seeking 2A advocate's support of House and Senate bills H.R. 775 and S. 202, which are better known as The SHUSH Act. They have drafted up some letters to which you can simply add your name (or even modify and add your name) and have them sent to your congressional representatives. The process has been made very simple.

For those unfamiliar, the SHUSH act (IMO preferable to the Hearing Protection Act), will deregulate firearm suppressors (regulated under NFA) and return them to their proper categorization as a firearm accessory*.

*Notably the HPA does not reclassify suppressors properly as an accessory, as it still requires you to undergo all the same rig-a-marole as if you were buying a firearm.

    Will do BUT you know this bill will go nowhere now that Nancy and crew is in charge of the House. The jerky Republicans had TWO freaking years to get the original bill done along with ccw reciprocity and did NOTHING when they controlled both houses plus the White House. Ryan and McConnell were and are spineless cowards.
