That is clever. My neighbor has "Home sweet home" Comcast named mine after whatever Cisco called it...

Was looking at GB last night on my telephone and noticed that one of my neighbors has a wi-fi network name of 'FBI Surveillance Van #623'.

At least I think it is a neighbor....

For a time ours was Maddie and Molly's Bar and Grill. M&M being our cats at that time.

I've had similar ones for.........ever. Since wifi started, really. "FBI Surveillance Van #2" etc.

My idiot neighbor has a huge jacked up obnoxiously loud truck that he'll sit in and rev up for 45 minutes at a time. I'm NOT exaggerating. The guy is a complete jerkwad. So, my other network is "LOUD TRUCK=SMALL PENIS" just to annoy him.

His whole response is "Too bad, I don't care if it wakes you up."

Needless to say, his neighbors beside him are NOT happy. One came out and got in a screaming match with him recently. His whole response is "I don't care, I can do what I want!"

Also fun to put as a SSID name: "Unsecured Network" And then make sure it is LOCKED! 8-)

The device name for the Ring Floodlight Camera that covers the area off of our back porch is "Armadillo Cam". It has detected and alerted us to Skunks, Opossums, Rabbits, Dogs, Cats, Wasps, and Bugs; but never an Armadillo even though they've been present before. I think that armor plated exterior shields them from detection!

After a vacation in the Texas Hill Country we named our "Utopia" after Utopia, TX. That was 15 years ago and it has stuck with us through two cross country moves and 3 or 4 new routers.

Currently mine is named "virus download"

I also like to to name it the exact same name as the neighbors wifi. Also "Free Porn" is a good one.

NSA Carnivore is the name of my phone hotspot and has got a few comments when I turn it on in public places.

Had a neighbor that failed to secure his wireless router. Good signal.

Boy, is HE gonna be surprised when the black helicopters show up at HIS house!

Naming your WiFi "Free Porn" can cause serious attempts by others to gain access. ;)

So have you figured out how to hack into your neighbors that uses that name?

If you are in the Jacks drive through in Locust Fork.....and search for wifi signals.....you will find there is a printer somewhere nearby without any password. I've thought about sending it pictures, but never have. It might be Jacks....it could be the plumber next door to there. Who knows????
