That is great, but despite that the stock market is expected to be rather static this year with a correction at some point leading to a minor recession. Unfortunately the markets have little to do with real economics.

With all the tax cuts kicking in after 1.5years it should be a whole lot more. Inflation is increasing also. Plus the deficit is going to hit a trillion dollars before 2019 ends. There are no free rides here in America anymore. It's all juxtaposition with Superposition Government wizardry with The Federal Reserve petrodollar. If the petrodollar fails then the pony show is over for low-interest rates and all the rollovers of free low-interest rates for debt is presto, gone!

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the budget deficit amounted to $779 billion in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, a 17 percent increase from the $666 billion deficit recorded in 2017.

    Yep
Agreed. When the economy is growing, the liberals are licking their chops, ready for more tax and spend.

Received our Company Profit Share paperwork yesterday. Most everyone was not happy/pleased. (Only the ignorant were not aware.)

Our Company had one of our best years ever. Built more Trailers than ever, have been having to turn down business, because we were unable to make/meet Contract delivery times due to current orders. We have been working 6 day work weeks, every other week ad nauseam. At various meetings, Corporate made everything sound like sweetness and light. ("Best Year ever." Etc.)

We lost 4.7% due to "Stock Market Volatility." Our Company contribution, (in my case went from over $7K to around $4800.) With the Stock market loss equaling 4.7% (that reduced my addition by -$1100.) So my addition to my Profit share was $3700, down from over $7k for the previous 5 years.

Those that have been with the company 20-23 years not only did not see an addition, but lost their Ass. (With the 4.7% loss in overall plan assets due to "Stock Market Volatility."

There were a couple lines about "the increase in the price of commodities, and we were unable to adjust quickly enough."

    WTH happened?

Yeah, I took home about $40-50 more per week. This evens it out. Easily.

The only people not pleased, were the ignorant.
