Neighbor Just came to see me, -

Apparently his three dogs, (all large breed dogs) got in to it with my one dog, on my property. (My Dog on an overhead Trolley.)

My dog has one tiny scratch on his forehead. (I Would have been wondering, WTH?)

Neighbor was walking over, when I went out front to let my dog back in. (No noise whatsoever.) Did not know anything was going on. This neighbor has been warned by multiple neighbors, (and me) to keep his dogs leashed and on his property.

Apologized, asked how my dog was. Told him everything looks okay. (Tiny scratch on his forehead.) Apparently his dogs are F'd up. Oh well, too bad, so sad. Maybe you should (like multiple neighbors have all asked you,) keep your dogs on your property.


Buddy apparently kicked Ass.

    I'd be pissed!!!, if my dog was attacked in its own yard. Check buddy over real well. Could have strained muscles ect. that aren't visible.

    I would be more worried if the other 3 have had their shots, here is hoping the best for buddy

    He has a tiny scratch (tooth mark) on his forhead. (I would have been wondering WTH? )

    My Neighbor came over, I saw him walking through my yard, headed towards me, when I went out front to let Buddy in.

    Was asking how my dog was. (?) "He looks to be okay to me." Relayed that his three dogs were F'd up. "Well that is really too bad. Have we/I not told you to keep youe dogs on your own property more than once?"


    "Obviously, my dog is on an overhead Trolley. Your dogs must have been on my property, in order to mix it up with my dog. (?) No?"


    "Perhaps you can keep your dogs on your own property from now on?" (And) We will not have this problem."

    Tried to make nice with my dog (Buddy) when he was within Trolley lead. (Buddy was not too in to it.) Once I started telling Buddy, "He's Okay, He's Okay," Buddy calmed down, and allowed him in. (Before knowing what had transpired,) and Buddy allowed him to come within Trolley range. Once I found what was going on, I was not too happy.

    Jessie's dog's got what they got. Let your dogs run the neighborhood? (I do not.) What do you you expect?

    If I had been outside,while they were (seemingly) attacking my dog, (on my property,) there would have been some dead dogs lying there. (Told him as much.)

    Just spotted another bite mark on the back of my dogs head.

    Pretty pissed.

    I am sure you already have done so...

    Look for canine tooth crush impact wounds - and slow deep punctures (can be hard to locate depending on your dogs hair length and type)

    They result in necrotic tissue and get infected and abscess - crush tissue can look like bruises but will turn bad quick...

    And of course watch how he walks - check his gait when he gets up after sleeping.

    And get him some dog on dog socializing time - dog park pack play and people interaction - just to observe that he has returned to acting okay and is not shy or snappy.

    You know - the normal stuff.

    Take Buddy to the vet for a check-up for all the good reasons that have been posted. Let the vet know that Buddy was attached while he was tied up by 3 larger dogs and what you have noticed. Things can crop up and turn bad quickly. Once Buddy is declared healthy present your neighbor with the bill.

    We have morons around our area that let their dogs run wherever they want all the time. Before we moved where we are we lived near here, but we saw more roaming dogs than we do now. We had to shoot at least three of them that I can remember for trying to attack our dogs, getting into the trash or growling at our kids. One we had to put down because someone else had shot it. That was the SADDEST day ever. It was a large, lanky, red colored hound dog puppy with a royal blue collar. It had the softest velvet floppy ears and saddest big droopy eyes. Someone had shot it and it had made it up to our back door. Larry said it wasn't going to live and we needed to put it out of it's misery. I begged and begged to try to keep it. I think Larry didn't want to take on the vet bills if it were going to live....who knows what would have happened, but I left it up to him. About a week later we saw a lost dog sign and called to let them know what happened.

    What gets me are the idiots that defend letting their dogs run around everywhere. Its like they are too stupid to see how wrong it is. I get sooooo mad at these people. They shouldn't be allowed to have animals at all.

    Just now came back inside after spending the past hour on the front porch, with Buddy on his Trolley lead. I have now located/identified about 6 different areas where blood was drawn. (Apparently my dog is not a bleeder.) Hard to spot. A couple were located when my dog whined when I touched the area.

    I am not very happy about right now.

    Mark G. I believe you are correct. A Vet visit, and Vet bill presented seems to be in order.


    Turns out his Son, took a short cut through my yard, with their dogs in tow, headed toward the Mountain pond behind my house. The fourth dog they have just adopted (and does not know to stay away from my dog,) started it.

    My dogs Trolley lead, is WAY on my property. Kid and dogs were about two acres onto my property, where my dog was located.






    On the other hand, jumping a Pit Bull seems akin to throwing a punch at a MMA Fighter. Not very bright.

    Neighbors Son was just out back of my place walking the gravel road that goes around the Mountain pond behind my house. (My property.) Heard my dog barking. Looked out back. He was pointing his fishing rod at my dog, like a rifle.

    I went out on the deck, and asked him what he thought he was doing. :?:


    I pretty much told him, he had been on my property "taking a shortcut" to the pond when his dogs jumped on mine. (My dog on a Trolley lead.) If he had a problem, he should come talk to me, otherwise do not be pointing at my dog like he would like to shoot him, or we were going to have a problem.









    Felt like telling him, "If anyone should be pissed, it's me. You were on my property with your dogs, when they attacked mine while hooked up to a Trolley lead." (And, You are angry?) I've not told him to "Stay off my Property", Yet.

    Posted several "Private Property, No Trespassing," signs on my property. Will see where that goes.

    At least they are/have been warned.

    If I have to speak with them, I've got no problem with that either.





    Pisses me off, to no end, my dog got jumped by multiple dogs about 75' from my front door. (About 2 acres on my/our own Property.)
