Vampire Mirror. how did I do it?

I took this picture of a mirror in my basement. how did I do it?

    I'll guess that the mirror in the pic is leaning back slightly, reflecting the larger mirror you're standing behind and slightly to the right of. :?: Probably wrong, but I'm tired and phoning it in at this point. :oops:

    Set the timer on the camera and step off to the side. While hanging from the ceiling smoking a joint with count Dracula and wearing your mother in laws night gown. (She wants her joint back)

    nope, there was only 1 mirror. the one you see in the picture.

    if you don't see a vampire's reflection in a mirror, why do their clothes disappear too? the clothes aren't vampires

    What is that dark spot dead center of the mirror? On the right side of the air duct, to the right of the air handling unit?

    On a related note, once saw a chromed coffee pot being sold on fleabay- lady had not considered: a. you are taking a photo of a mirror, and b. you oughta put some clothes on before you do that.

    Nope.
    The objects you see in the mirror are NOT directly in front of the mirror.
    They are at an angle off to one side exactly equal to the angle of you holding the camera to the mirror.

    "The angle of reflection is directly equal to and opposite the angle of incidence."

    You can see the line/ joint is skewed. The mirror is slightly at an angle and the camera is just off frame

    okay. if you look at the frame, I should be standing on front of the mirror.

    but as you have figured out, the stuff in the reflection isn't in line with that. you may also notice the stuff in the reflection is crooked. nothing reflects crooked off of a flat mirror no matter what angle.

    so here's what I did. took a picture standing off to the side,

    items in the reflection are straight.

    changed the angle with photoshop, resulting in a mirror directly in front of you but the items in the reflection are crooked.
