Quick n easy cocktails,,,,,, and bullets
I'm, most often, perfectly content with a good bourbon, rye or Irish whiskey on the rocks.
But my wife prefers cocktails of various ingredients; bitters, pomegranate juice, fresh squeezed lime or lemon, liqueurs, grenadine, sweet n sour mix, etc.
She'll have 5 or 6 different things on the counter and spend more time making a cocktail than it takes to drink it.
I prefer quick and easy, so I'd like some recommendations from the membership here.
Here's my contribution for a quick margarita:
2 oz tequila
1 oz orange liquor (we prefer DeKyper & Sons 03)
2 oz limeade concentrate
2 oz water
Built in a glass with 4 ice cubes and well stirred.
And, to make this a "gun thread";
I prefer 124 gr fmj, as opposed to 115 gr for range work with the 9mm, but they're not as readily available at bargain prices.
What say you?

Tequila with a glass, I have glasses now, so no need to drink from the bottle, that said mostly I just drink beer.
I've been shooting Federal 124 grain fmj and Federal 124gr hst, hit the same POI as well as far as I can tell. Practice with the hardball and run a few hst. Then keep loaded with the hst.0 -
I generally drink my likkers neat. Store them in fridge or freezer. The only times I mix would be a cheap bourbon like JB or JD with coca cola. Or vodka with coca cola or OJ. But that's rare.
But normally just straight in a glass.
As far as bullets? I shoot Glocks, and they'll eat anything. So I shoot whatever is on sale...0 -
Instead of margarita mix, I pour 1 second of tequila per 12 ounces of mt dew, (usually 3 seconds, and a 1 liter bottle of dew.) Add ice, a couple shakes of salt.

I am a whisky/Scotch and Ice man myself but I like a Moscow Mule.
Ice
Lime juice(splash)
10 oz Good Ginger Beer
2 oz vodka
I too prefer 124gr 9mm I have a mold that casts 130gr 9mm TC bullets. Its my favorite for cast bullets.
I bought GECO 9mm 124gr from PSA a few years ago. I got 5K of them and have shot about half. If I remember I got them for less than $6 a box, I don't think I can reload them for that price. They have high quality brass as a plus.0 -
I primarily drink Scotch or Gin. The Scotch neat or with a bit of ice. On special occasions, a Rusty Nail.
My Gin drinks (all with ice):
Straight, or
W/ pickled onions and juice, or
w/ Dash of Fee Brothers Orange Bitters, or
w/ Dash of Fee Brothers Classic Bitters, or
w/ Dash of Fee Brothers Lemon Bitters (Yes, I'm a big fan of Fee Brothers Bitters!)
Or a true Martini, very dry.
I no longer shoot or reload, but I prefer 150-gr ice cubes.0
