39* here, rainy. Snow flurries forecasted overnight. I've got a fire going in the woodstove.

Where are you located?

Lots of people around here have already planted a garden. (Made that mistake before.) Not this year.





I Love it. Gives me an excuse to not mow the oversize yard, again.

  For the transplants:
  No plants in the ground until after the May 10th cold spell and when the mountain is green half way up.
  Plant your seed potatoes on Good Friday.

  Up here in New York State on the Vermont border...seventy-two today and rain...though there are still chunks of ice along the shoreline on the
  Battenkill..

  39* and rainy just now. Snow flurries on tap again overnight.
  
  Fire going overnight last night. Re-lit and going again this morning/today.
  
  Good excuse to not mow the oversize yard. (Personally, I would have left 3/4 of it in woods.)
  
  Still have quite a bit in woods and bordered on all sides by woods. I do not need/desire such a large yard.
