The missed opportunities in our lives.... :(
    You said it!!!

In my younger years {25 or so}, I was into hotrods and drove a 1974 SS454 el
    camino.

I met a good looking girl that we hung out together. Well it came the time to met her parents.

We drove out to a VERY expensive area in my loud SS car.

Turned into a drive way and I stopped in front of a very nice house.
"No, she said, Keep going, that's just the servant"s house".
Her father was the head of Long Island Jewish Hospital. Very big bucks!!!

But Alas. I didn't "love " her. I would have been the only male heir to their money.
    :(:(

74 El Camino huh... that was a Brand new car back when I went to high school.

I'm glad you didn't say "OLD" muscle cars :o

yes I have seen girls that turned out nice after high school like the ugly duckling story and some I went out with and think what if ;)
however I had a couple old GF's who I had not seen or heard from for 40 -45 + years but have bumped into common friends thru out the years who say have you seen ---- lately well no, never tried to find her well she is the size of a house now

I was pretty good in sports so i was popular in school and dated all but 3 girls that i wanted to date.

There was 1 girl that tried countless times and i mean countless times to go out with me and i paid her no mind.

Sadly my mom made me drive her to school everyday with my friends. I ran into her about 8 years ago and she is a knockout now.

She loves throwing in my face about how hard she tried to get me. She was a late bloomer but she bloomed. LOL
