When I was 18, my dad found a pint of Southern Comfort and my stash of Trojans in my truck. All he said after taking a big swing of SC, ?shoo, too sweet!?

A bit too sweet for me. I drank it when I was younger. For a bit of a change, try mixing with apple juice. Not for everyone though.

Hell, I think bourbon is too sweet. That SC gack is undrinkable.

Thanks for link... gotta go stock up on it so I have enough to last at least double my lifetime. Then if it goes away..those that want it..well it will be expensive.

Southern Comfort is for those that don't have a mature enough palate to drink real whiskey.

Had it years ago and It was ok but not something I ever got into. Will stick with Bourbon & Scotch.

yeh. too sweet. that must be why they call it Southern Comfort, a lot of Southern food is overly sweet.

much prefer Jeremiah Weed if I'm going to drink bourbon.

    I don't drink anyways.

My parents loved Southern Comfort mixed with Vernors Ginger ale (a Detroit product). Still on the sweet side. Mixed with other ginger ales, it doesn't taste as good.

Southern Comfort and Dr. Pepper when I want some cough syrup with a punch.

I call it the "Southern Doctor"

Calling it the "Doctor's Comfort" is a little to much

There is a lifetime supply of Southern Comfort 100 miles south of Panama and it will be available far into the future. No worries of running out.
