some families are just bad,,venting

Being honest,,I led a very rough younger life at no fault of my Family,,I was much younger than my siblings and just went wild,,but I grew out of it..MY WIFE'S FAMILY on the other hand just needs help,,Her Father had a heart of gold,,would give you the shirt off of his back, he was also a compulsive gambler, he made well over 6 figures a year and when he died he left the Mother in law destitute,,not even a car,,no home,,nothing,,she had to come live with us, now she is in a nursing home batshit crazy Paranoid Schizophrenia, Doctors said most likely had it all her life ""explains a lot" ,, an older sister spent most of her younger days in the Federal pen, when she got out she started doing dope and has never quit, Father-in-laws funeral she was so stoned she passed out at the table,fell face first into a bowl of soup and would have drowned if I had not pulled her head up and just let it fall on the table.,Her Brother has not had a job in 30 years,,would not even buy his kids clothes to go to school in,,Government supported them all,, One of her nephews, 2 weeks ago got into it with the police in venture ca..threatened to kill all the police and blow up every school..they shot him twice,,bad shots I guess,he is still alive,,,Anyway,,Her eldest sister great lady ,worked at a college until she retired,,very well educated and just normal,, Her and my wife were very close,,She has been ill down in Louisiana and passed away yesterday,,How the Family notified everyone,,, THEY POSTED IT ON FACEBOOK,,Not one of these crazies even bothered to call the wife to let her know her sister had passed,,she saw it on Facebook this morning,,

    Wow,, that's some serious malfunctions. I can relate, really and I feel your pain. Makes me wonder a lot about people in general. God bless you.

    how about moving and leaving NO forwarding address..??? years ago..... i have had to eat a lot of "family" chit and just wrote em off....should have MUCH sooner and better for my mental health.....sometimes no matter what, it's a no win deal

    In a not exactly verbatim situation, my Dad was DOD and got and assignment overseas. I called my Grandmother once because I had misplaced the contact information for my parents and she said "well honey I'll let them know you are trying to get in touch with them but I can't give you the information in case they don't want you to have it" !!!! LOL

    She was a pistol that ole lady :)

    Every family has some. Thats what make the news papers sell. Cops keep jobs. Prisons stay full. Hollywood makes movies and there are always wars. There are lots of loneys out there and even sane folks lose it when things get too real.
