Heroin Over Doses
I spent a long time yesterday talking to a friend and i was asking about this person we grew up with or that person.
Come to find out i have had 2 people i hung out with die from cancer and 3 od from heroin. :evil:
1 was a girl that was a nurse and somehow she decided to try heroin. Why no one knows.

Several years ago, a former customer was sentenced to life in prison for taking nude photos of and molesting his sons' girlfriends daughter, a young teen age girl after he drugged her so she passed out.
A few years later, his son was sent to prison for drugging a girl and molesting her while his buddy took photos.
Now father/son can have some bonding time together in the prison.
There are some sick people in the world. :twisted:

I have 6 real good life long friends from High School. We all kept in touch went to each others weddings,visited when we could.....you know the deal
Only one is left
2 Cancer
1 Died from a blood clot after knee replacement
1 Suicide(I suspect he had cancer)
1 Heart Attack/Stroke(He got real fat in his 40's and died in his mid 50's)

Have a friend that is a Fire Dept EMT. A suburban county. Nice area to live. They are going thru Narcan by the case.
He said their stock in trade call was traffic accidents/ heart attacks. Now it is an OD.

So far this year in Montgomery Co. Ohio (Dayton area), there have been 72 drug overdose deaths. That's in 3 1/2 months! I will never understand what the draw is to drugs. Everyone has to know what the consequences can be by now. It's just totally unbelievable to me. 0 -
I?ve been up close and personal with this scourge most of my adult life and still deal with it at work on a daily basis. I?ve lost a very close family member who most would consider a pillar of the community that struggled for years, as well as a myriad of friends and associates. I know of which I speak. There are a thousand stories, reasons and excuses, yet virtually none make sense to me.
I too have lost more friends than I care to count, not all that many from what could be considered natural causes. At 62 I suspect the tally is beginning to go toward the latter. For the life of me, as with the heroin/fentanyl/etc issue, I can?t understand why folks can?t see the writing on the wall, exercise, eat well but within reason, take care of yourself, health is your responsibility. Life is fleeting, good health is a gift. The Reaper throws enough curves our way, don?t help him along.0
