I remember many years ago, there were adds in the Shotgun News, for "auto sears" for the ar15.

Guy was selling a finished part for about $50. And told you that part wouldn't fit/work without buying another part from his brother at a different address for $35.

Thought he could "get around" the laws by selling half a part.

I dont have an AR in front of me but I thought generally the new lowers dont have space machined out for a 3 position selector switch.

This was a gagzillion years ago, must have been about late 70's early 80's. It was for a drop in link.
It did NOT make it select fire, just full auto IIRC.

Thinking about it now....Seems it was some sort of a square base that held a pinned lever that flopped up and down??? Or something like that...

FOUND IT!!! Look simialer to this
