KFC Seemed to Get a Clue -
I had commented on a previous thread, about their new containers, and being shortchanged volume wise.
They must have received comments, because when I stopped in on the way home to pick up a Family Fill up, (Tenders Bucket.) The same size containers, are now filled to the brim. The weight of my bag, and upon arriving home, unloading the bag - was a huge difference.
Quite pleased.
I'm sure negative comments to Management produced the change. Thumbs up.

Talking about portion size. Not whether you like them, or purchase from them.
Thanks though.0 -
I like KFC but the quality of the food in my area is varied. Sometimes its good, sometimes not. Got a laugh when a friend of mine ordered original recipe and received chicken that had no spices on it. He took it back and the person working there said that they dont put spices on it. You have to be older to remember the ads that said it was eleven herbs and spices that made the chicken so good. 0 -
The KFC here in my little town is brand new, and they have been quite good.
After trying several "Family Fill Up Buckets," I have gravitated to the "Tenders" meal bucket. 12 all white meat Chicken Tenders, no bones. I love the sides. (Now that they have gone back to the original quantity/volume, if not more.) Pretty sure I got a Lot more Cole Slaw/mashed potatoes than normal this trip.
KFC Potatoe wedges are the Bomb, if you've not tried them.0 -

I'll have to try the tenders next time I'm at KFC. Sounds good. I have a bad habit of stopping there to pick up a bucket of chicken, and always end up with a bacon double cheeseburger and onion rings, from the A&W side. :oops:0 -

But, but, but, ............................................."Cheap Chicken from China?" (Montanajoe?) Does Chinese Chicken taste different than American Chicken? I doubt they, (the Chinese) import Chicken from there, in order to fulfill American Chicken orders. That can not be price conducive/advantageous to their profit margin.
Pretty sure it is American Chicken we are eating. (However that may be advantageous to us, in general, I am not sure.)
(Chinese owned,) Perhaps, I get it. Not my preference either. (But) A good deal for the money. YVMD.0 -
My thoughts are all fast food places are cutting back on quantity .. and the quality isn't any better either but the price has increased on many items.
Most times, the price of eating at a fast food joint is near equal to eating in a better 'sit down' restaurant.
