Police: Two Men Arrested For Assaulting And Robbing Man With MAGA Hat

GERMANTOWN, Md. (WJZ) ? Two men, Jovan Crawford and Scott Duncan Roberson, were arrested in Germantown and charged with assault and robbery over the weekend.

Montgomery County Police said the victim was walking in the area of the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive when he was approached by Crawford, 27, and Roberson, 25.

The suspects then allegedly began harassing the victim and asking him why he was wearing a ?Make America Great Again? hat. Officials said the victim told the suspects he was entitled to his own views and tried to walk away. That?s when the Crawford and Roberson began to hit the victim and tell him to take his hat off, according to police.

The victim eventually fell to the ground and the suspects robbed him and destroyed some items that had value, before fleeing the scene, police said.

Officers responded to the area to help the victim and search for Crawford and Roberson. They were found trying to hide among a group of children playing basketball.

Police arrested them and took them to the Central Processing Unit where they were charged.

Crawford was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempt theft $100 to under $1,500, second degree assault and malicious destruction of property with a value less than $1,000.

Roberson was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempt theft $100 to under $1,500 and second degree assault.

Detectives ask anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 240-773-6237.

    There will not be a show of rage or accusations of a hate crime by the MSM.

    The MSM will not report hate speech but might give a "white washed" version with a liberal slant. YouTube videos will be censored or demonetized for conservatives if they use the "wrong words".

    Becoming more convinced the Leftists need to be voted out of office and replaced with Conservatives to get the U.S. back on a Capitalist / Constitutional course. There are other ways but they will be extremely devastating on the U.S. population and by no means guarantee a peaceful transition of power.

    Shame there seem to be two sets of rules for our country now. You get a pass if you are black. If you are white you are simply passed over.

    Unfair and insane. Similar problem just took place at columbia university. Five white security guards were suspended for doing there job when a black stundent decided to jump the id process and run from the security desk. After the security team did thier job stopping him. The student put up a fuss while others recorded and publishted the incident. Provocing a false protest.

    Our country has lost its course.

    You're right. It's going to happen. And while I predict that it'd be a good / legal shoot (or whatever you want to call it), the left will spin the hell out of it. I saw a post / article recently about 2 youds assaulting an old white guy. The observers said and did not a damned thing - until the white guy pulled his pistol out.

    I carved my own "TRUMP" license plate for my truck. I get positive comments all the time. Today a woman followed me into the store and told me how much she liked the plate!

    I think I'm going to start making them for sale!
