The U-line guns were the only ones that my wife couldn't screw up. :D

Your wife hasn't worked where I use to work. The millennial's working in that shithole could have taught her how. Them boys could cause a traffic jam in a Chinese fire drill.
Seriously, they'd toss the 3/4" tape dispensers because the blade was dull. When ya'd tell'em to turn the blade over, they'd look at ya like ya had a pecker grownin' out'a yer forehead.

I just got to tell you about a millennial helping us build a deck on a patio.

I'm cutting 2x4's braces with a chop saw on a work table. I cut a 16" piece of 2x4 with one end square cut {90 degree} and the other end cut at a 45 degree angle.

    Okay got that??

I throw that brace to this kid to nail it into a corner of 2 floor joists.

He puts the wrong ends against the joists and of course the angles don't match.

He"s looking at it like it's a nuclear bomb about to go off.

I say to him, "Just turn the brace around and it will fit the angles".

    Now here it comes!!!!

He's still holding the wood and he steps back a step and turns his whole body around in a circle then looks at the board again.

I almost put my neck under the chop saw to end it all.
