Bookmakers in Nevada and New Jersey listed Woods among the top tier of contenders at around 12-1 odds. On Tuesday, a bettor capitalized on the odds at a William Hill U.S. sportsbook in Nevada, putting an $85,000 wager on Woods to win at 14-1 odds.
The ticket will pay out $1.19 million, the largest golf ticket loss in the sportsbook?s history, according to the company.

good odds but still a lot of money to bet, of course the guy who placed the bet more than likely was a multi millionare and wouldn't have missed $85,000........... He was due a win, and earned it, but Molinari and Keopka or however you spell them did give him an open door, Molinari and Keopka both on 12 in water and Keopka again on 18 missing that last put for tie, letting tiger win with a bogey, that is golf no one to blame but yourself for your win or your loss...... 0 -

Yes, I am sure the guy who bet has more money that GG here and wouldn't have missed it if he lost. Tough, darn good game and ElTigre shows that the golfers get happy clubs when he is breathing down the bag and playing with them. A job well done. 0
