They just don't want me to have nice things

I swear.....directions for cooking things and ingredient lists have shrunk in size to the point that I cannot read ANYTHING any more. I've got reading glasses (1.5) and its not really helping much any more. So, its got to be some kind of conspiracy.....between the chicken flavored rice packets.....brownie mixes....and such I'm having to do some pretty long arm stretches to make things out. I had to get the boy at the checkout read my dog treats ingredients to make sure they were ok to give my bulldog (who is allergic to so much stuff its ridiculous.)

I guess I'm just stuck. I'll be Mr Magoo pretty soon.....or that lady that wears a magnifier around her neck like a spy ready for action.

    With all the warning labels the government makes everybody put on everything, the print has got to be smaller to make it all fit :o

    I have a helpful solution. Take a picture with your phone. Bring up said pic. Expand the pic to your optical comfort.

    Make a trip to the dollar store. Scattered around my shop are all different powers of cheater glasses.

    Bright light and 2.50 reading glasses are your friends ;)

    Multiple Eye Surgeries over the last 6 months have pretty much restored my vision.

    The difference is simply astounding. (I've not seen so good since I was 19-20.)

    Cataracts removed, warped/distorted lenses removed - replaced with Silicone implants. Incisions made to correct for astigmatism. One at a time. (3 months apart.)

    Was not painful, or even uncomfortable. I wish I had done it years ago.

    See an Eye Specialist/Surgeon, not an Optometrist. (My Humble Opinion.)

    It was worth the $$.

    I feel your pain Kasey. I use 1.25's for reading and they work good for me. Try finding the dosage instructions on a freaking container of meds. They have those asinine peel open labels that work fine if you have razor blades for fingernails but are nigh on impossible to peel open with normal fingers. Then go buy a jug of bug or weed killer and try to figure out how much to put into a two gallon sprayer. It takes a degree in Law plus vast knowledge of the metric system added to so many warnings I just give up and dump some in and hope for the best.

    Next bulldog get one that's not so inbred/over bred. Olde English Bulldogge or American Bulldog. Or you can just go "raw" for your pooch.
