Fix my truck wipers,,

2004 Ram 1500. Intermit. wipers;
First click from off is wipe and long pause,
as you rotate through the intermit range the pause between wipes get less.
Mine is doing absolute random wipes no matter where in the intermit range the control is set. May be one wipe,7,continuos on,anything.
What is it?? The relay bad?? or what??

  I had a few of that year company trucks 90%of the time it was the contact s on the wiper motor would corrode sometimes I got lucky just cleaning the contacts up

  First and easy is connect a jumper wire from the wiper motor frame to a good engine ground.
  Many odd ball wiper troubles stem from a bad ground because the wiper motor assy is mounted in rubber bushings.

  if the direct ground doesn't fix it then next go to the relay on fuse block and swap that out before going to the switch.

  Wiring Dodge. Very common..chase it down. Could be in the fuse box that is jumping to the next fuse over.

  Get a Toyota Tundra and move on.
