Still Struggling with Firefox
I'm trying to move my favorites folder from my old laptop (Win10 & IE) to my new one (Win10 & Firefox). I have copied my favorites folder to an USB drive and can see it (and use the files) on my new laptop. In trying to move it to my bookmarks I am doing this: Library/Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/import and backup/import bookmarks from HTML. Then I am stuck. Any help appreciated folks.

Click the Library button library icon , then click Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Show all Bookmarks.
From the toolbar on the Library window, click Import and Backup and choose Import Bookmarks from HTML....
Importing HTML Bookmarks -
In the Import Bookmarks File window that opens, navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing and select the file.
Click the Open button. The Import Bookmarks File window will close.
Close the Library window.
The bookmarks in the selected HTML file will be added to your Firefox bookmarks within the Bookmarks Menu directory.

If still having troubles it may be your files on the flash drive.
Then perhaps it would be easy to load them onto IE browser now on your puter, then import them onto Firefox from the same puter.

After you get them imported, go to Sync, set up a Firefox account, and sync. That saves your bookmarks online and allows Firefox to update them to all your other machines. 0
