Too Many Lawyers - sorry Earl
"A Texas woman is suing the Houston Astros for $1 million after she says a t-shirt cannon fired at one of their games last year fractured her finger in what she describes as a ?life-changing? ordeal.". I don't know what that woman was doing with that million dollar finger and don't think I want to know.

You can sue anyone for anything. There are too many lawyers. Just look at congress...
This case where a tee shirt was fired out at a ball game. Which is a comon practice at this stadium sound fishy. The fickle finger of fate and this women sounds like lawyers looking for a ambulance to chase. Knowing stadium activities more likely this dame had too many cocktails and fell on her keyster...0 -

But if there was negligence... like it was fired with her finger in front of the cannon... I could see damages, but if it was broken catching a T-shirt she sounds like she?s too old to be at a baseball game and should stay in the rocking chair.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is suing the Houston Astros for more than $1 million, alleging that she injured her finger when the team's mascot shot her at close range with a T-shirt cannon last summer.
According to the lawsuit filed on Monday, Jennifer Harughty claims she was sitting behind third base at a game on July 8, 2018, when Orbit, the Astros' mascot, fired off the T-shirt cannon into the stands, hitting her with a shirt at close range and shattering her left index finger.
Sounds like some negligence... but I still hate lawyers0 -

Sounds more like she jumped up and tried to catch it, and probably broke it when she came back down grabbing for her seat to stabilize her fall... which puts her at fault...
But they will settle out of court, it's cheaper to pay off the scumbag than it is to drag it through the court system :x0 -

A long time ago the Atty Gen of Alabama had a great idea. All lawyers should be considered to be a part of the judicial branch of government & barred from any position in the executive or legislative branches under the separation of powers doctrine. Of course his target was Gov Wallace but I think the idea could be the salvation of our Republic. 0 -
If you think lawyers are bad, watch ABC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS and read AP, WaPO. NYT or any propaganda product of the DEMOCRAT party.
