I didn?t notice it had bid that high. I stand corrected. In my personal opinion the price being paid for a lot of the Colt product I see being sold here is just too much if resale in the future is to be considered. I think we will see a reduction in price in the future but I could be completely wrong as I have been before. If one simply wants to buy a Colt and doesn?t care what it costs then that?s cool too. 0 -

I do not believe the embellishments are worth anything close to the price the gun is bid up to. Frankly in some ways I consider them a detriment . I am not impressed . :roll: 0 -

A lot of Colt distributors have bought batches of "special edition" guns, but Lew Horton & Talo have done the best job of ordering special features that are popular with buyers.
One of the gun magazines used to have a short column every month entitled: "I wish they would make....", or something close to that. But, no longer, because now you can get just about any feature you want, thanks to a combination of catalogued variations & "special editions".
This particular gun may not be a "collectible", since it lacks the original box. And, at the current price, you probably wouldn't want to handle it without cotton gloves, & you sure wouldn't shoot it. If money were no concern to me, it would be good for a BBQ gun or for shooting rats at the land fill.
