I Thought I Was Going To Die Yesterday
My friend owns a rock crushing business and he gets me to weld and do some things for him now and then.
He asked me to run an excavator for a few hours while his guy went to the doctor. The excavator was sitting on the side of a mountain on a pad and i was just had to scoop buckets and put them in the feeder on the rock crusher.
While i was feeding the machine the pad the excavator was sitting on crumbled away. The only thing that saved me was that i was swinging the bucket the same way that the machine was falling so the bucket and arm kept me from falling.
My friend was praising me for being a great operator. I told him that i was lucky i was swinging that way. If not for that i would have rolled down the hill.
I made my friend get the machine out and build another pad. By then his worker was back and i left. LOL
That was a hard 2 hours. Its crazy because i do not have a pituitary or adrenal gland so when i get scared the only thing that happens is my heart speeds up but i do not get any adrenaline rush. Its a crazy feeling.

Just proof that if you swing "the right way" you'll be ok!
Glad you're safe.0
