For the active military people
I hope this in no way breaks any rules here, But this is a plug for any active military and their families.
Pass it on to your friends and family.
Our campground in Tenn. has just finalized
a joint deal,an almost FREE use of a brand new large RV, with the US Army. The Rv will be set up on a nice site with a large deck, firepit, BBQ grill. Very near to our heated saltwater pool and close walking distance to the bath houses and indoor 12 person hot tub. All reservations are taken by the US Army. We get about $35 bucks for everything for a 2 or 3 nite stay. This covers barely, the water, taxes, and electricity used. We are NOT in this to make money. It's for the soldiers.
I am NOT listing the name of our campground or contact info till the RV is delivered some time in the next 14 days. Then I will post pictures and any info needed. And links to our campground to see more of whats offered to the service men and women if the mods here allow it.
Any active soldiers of any branch and their families can "rent" the rv for weekends or longer by just placing a deposit of about $135, of which they will get $100 back when they leave. This goes thru the US Army.
WE are honored to work with the US Army to supply this great deal to the great soldiers of our country.

I think this is Awesome!!
Good job Sir.0 -
I wish I could post more info, but the US Army handles all the transactions and money, and they will make it public after the RV is set up. We can't tie up our phones with questions till after the Army sets the ground rules...they handle the rentals. The US Army has got a free transporter to bring us the Donated RV.
We already talked to the local Lowes store which we do a ton of business with and they want to jump in with goodies too.!!
I can not, without giving away our name and local, tell you about the owners here. You will understand later why we wanted to do this.

If you will, thank the owners on my behalf. I made use of Army Morale Support during my seven years in uniform. It may seem a small thing, but does make a difference. 0 -
The US army's MWR program is something we have been looking into for a while.
It is ,from what we have talked to soldiers, one of the better fun things a soldier's family can do cheaply.
Thank you GG for the offer, but we have a complete kitchen, separate BBQ smoker shack and a super large open
pavilion where we have bi-weekly dances, dinners, karaoke, and free ice cream socials to "meet your neighbor campers".
Our $10 all you can eat catfish fry is always a big hit with the campers.
The US Army told us anything like that we charge the soldiers directly. We Laughed at that. Charge them??? NOT going to happen!!!0 -

Lowes has donated a huge American flag and pole for the RV site and is ordering flags of
all the service branches we are going to put up around Old Glory.
I will post pics of the first GI and their family that enjoy this little thing we can do for them.
Our soldiers deserve more.
One of the owners of this campground is a retired Major from The US Army Rangers.
He is especially glad to be now part of the "TENTS FOR TROOPS" program.0 -

Okay now a question for the military guys here....
Other than the correct rules for displaying the American flag, {we have many thru-out the campgrounds} , Is there any rules or suggested order of displaying service branch flags???
We have the option right now to have Old Glory centered and higher than the rest, with the smaller flags to the left and right, or in a circle around the higher American flag.
Any rules or guide lines??
Thanks Bob0
