Texas Govt for raising Taxes on the working poor!
Here we go another Republican politician wanting to raise sales Taxes a full one percent across the board after they gave the biggest Tax Cut In 2016 for Big business on the Federal level. Of course, there is no inflation yet but Republicans are coming out saying they need to Tax the poor and whatever is left of the middle class to fund government Spending! It's outrageous to think only Democrats are the problem here.
They wish to reduce property taxes for the rich land/building owners on the shoulders of the working poor. Tax and spend and redirect taxes on the bottom level to get the most gain for the rich,is their plan. All politicians are nothing but crooks bankrupting the country into more debt for their own gain! I say cut The Budget and stop having foreign wars with increased military spending and giving away money to other countries.

Texas' top three political leaders ? Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and House Speaker Dennis Bonnen ? threw their support Wednesday behind a proposal to increase the sales tax by 1 percentage point in order to lower property taxes across the state.
But that's only if lawmakers agree to limit future local property tax increases.

kansas new democrap governor has raised taxes $90 million for schools...its FOR the KIddies....every school i have been by back and forth to the lake place has NEW buildings and NEW sports setups......guess kiddies cannot learn and play unless it is luxury new ......and what tiny percent of students go one to make a living in sports....several years ago our local school here had a budget to concrete teachers parking but NO budget to get new safer football helmets..grankid said they only bought 3 new safer helmets so my wife went in and gave em a check so all the team had em ......duhhhhh 0
