Gun question-
Got in a raffle & won a Ruger 10/22 target light. No sights on it, just a rail. I'm not much of a scope guy. Was thinking a red dot or hol
igraph sight. Any good advice. I probably should make it Worls Class.
Any experience with one on a 10/22?

I have a set of Tech Sights on my 10/22 and very happy with it. The only rifle I have that doesn't have red dot, holo, or scope. 0 -
What kind of holo you have? I'm kind of leaning toward that for something different from what I have already. 0 -
Look at the Vortex lineup. You can't go wrong. 0 -
My holo is an EOTech and it's absolutely awesome. The only problem is that it's a bit too big to mount on a 10/22 size rifle. What I really like about it is the sharpness of the red dot image. It's flawless in it's shape and sharpness. Complete contrast against the three Vortex red dots I have (sorry Mr. Perfect), but I would never buy another Vortex. All three of the Vortex red dots are slightly fuzzy with a slight tail/smear that goes down and left. Before anyone says it's my eyes, I have special prescription glasses for shooting and neither my EOTech nor my Matchdot Ultradot have any smear or fuzziness. 0 -
Thanks for the info. Will look into those. 0 -
Scope it. 0 -
Yep, go with Vortex and it will be world clas.Mr. Perfect wrote:Look at the Vortex lineup. You can't go wrong.0 -
I have a little fixed 4X scope on mine. As far as red dots on a 10/22 I'd pop a Holosun 503C on it...cheap enough, durable and has a crisp cicrle/dot reticle similar to an Eotech. It s an Aimpoint T1 style clone for about $150 0 -
I would just use it like it is until you can matrix like point and shoot

That's what I've been accused of doing already. 0 -

If you really want to make it worls class, I'd take a 3 foot long drill bit, and drill the Barrell out until it's a .17 hmr. That'd make it worls class!0 -
I would sell it and get something you want. 0 -
This one is way different than all my other guns. Thought I would keep it & have some fun with it. If I sold it, it wouldn't come anywhere near paying fir what I want. 0
