what a failure ?????

is the so called state and federal NO CALL lists....in an age of microsecond computer response and AI machinations placing a number on a list seems just to run it thru a govt beauracracy till it gets lost.... this should be an entry and response and SPLAT it's done and gone AND the BS entries on email should have a kill em quick once And for all button that they do NOT come into the inbox, just bounce off and disappear so one does not have to make 3-4 steps to disappear each....i do not give a dammm about that crook bob vila, etc,etc

    Make no mistake about it, money is the reason NO CALL's don't work.

    Think about it.......If a phone number is on a "no call" list, that number is a "good" number.
    There IS a person on the other end.
    If I had a big list of "good" numbers, I could get more money for it from a telemarketer or scammers.

    Over 95% of the people support and like the legislation.
    The donotcall laws are just like any other law. Take for example immigration laws and even gun laws
    They are worthless when not enforced.

    Fifteen years ago that no call list worked well. I was on it for years and I got my mom on it. You had to renew it every year.
    But, these days, it is no good.

    The DNC list was great initially. Now I get all kinds of robo calls by computer voices pretending to be a real person.

    I wish the heck they'd fine and restrict those companies that are making the calls. They're a nuisance. Makes me want to get rid of my phone - but I need it.

    And what's worse is that there's rarely a "blocked number." Most say they come from the local exchange.

    arrest company owners and employees and give real jail time...money fines mean nothing ..it's not their money ??????

    I just don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.
    And I never set up a voice mail. Another great decision.
    I bet I haven't missed more than two or three calls that I wish I'd taken.
    And it's been a few years without.

    I am on the list,, I got 2 robo calls this week...Both from the Democrat party asking for donations. 1st time I just hung up..2nd time I talked to a live person,,when I told them I would donate $100 the day Obama was sentenced to life in prison,,they hung up..

    add hillary klinton to that prison bonus....what a warm and fuzzy feeling that generates...imagine they might have to dip into their "foundation" funds for a lawyer.......
