Motel 6 to pay 12 million dollars

After improperly giving guests-lists to ICE...IMPROPERLY???? Whatever happened to a person being a good citizen for calling the authorities on somebody breaking the law?

I never did like Motel 6, but I like them a whole lot more now that I know that they're willing to turn in illegal aliens to ICE.

These liberal poopheads are going to make it to where nobody can turn anybody in that are committing a crime. :x :x :x

    I fail a see how Motel 6 needs or can't even get a warrant to turn in people that they suspect are breaking the law.

    Why would ICE need a warrant to go investigate a complaint on private property. The authorities have never needed a warrant to investigate a complaint on private property

    From the article:
    "ICE agents approached him in the hotel's parking lot, detained him and deported him some days later," the statement reads. "The man was the sole provider for the household, and his wife is currently struggling to support their toddler and four other children."

    And what's so wrong with that? If he wasn't supposed to be here and was deported, ICE did what they were supposed to do. The deportee's family is just paying the price for the deportee's illegal entry / overstay. Life sucks when you do something illegal.

    That said, if Motel 6 violated a portion of the WA State Consumer Protection Code, he is correct in bringing this lawsuit.

    Is it within the power of the Federal Government to know who is staying at every hotel/motel in this country at any given time? One would hope not.
