R.I.P. old friend
Disturbing news today.
A friend of 35 years was stabbed to death in his own home this morning, then the house was set alight.
There is obviously an ongoing investigation, but the fact remains that my friend is dead.
Keep your heads on a swivel.
Keep your sidearm within reach.
Lock your doors.
I don't know what else to say.
This is not the little berg I grew up in.

Yeah -sorry to hear. No matter how safe you feel, havta be careful.
We live rurally and have a very protective pup. Hopefully my boy will dissuade any troublemakers and I won't need to defend.

There was a serials on TV awhile back, called "The Corner". It was about drug use and crime on certain street corners in a big city. Lots of bad things.
In the last show, a black drug user/thief was trying to clean up so he moved to a small
little town in the country.
When the show producers went to see how he was doing, they found him drugged out and just as bad as ever.
The producers asked what happened???
He answered, "Every town has a "corner"".

Once again the unrivaled journalists in this small town leave people scratching their heads, with more questions than before their report3.
Yesterday my friend was stabbed to death.
Today he died from multiple gunshot wounds and his roommate was stabbed, and is in critical but stable condition in a hospital in Indianapolis.
I understand confusion in the moment, but who can't tell the difference between fatal stab wounds and gunshot wounds?0
