High Capacity to CA only till 5pm

Judge Roger Benitez ordered that the Judgement is stayed in part pending final resolution of the appeal from the Judgement.
"Today?s ruling stays enforcement of the injunction as applied to the restrictions against the manufacture, importation, sale, transfer, and receipt of so-called ?large-capacity? magazines, as of 5:00PM April 5, 2019.

In other words, those restrictions will once again be enforceable after that time.

But the ruling also clarifies that the injunction against those restrictions will remain in effect ?for those persons and business entities who have manufactured, imported, sold, or bought magazines able to hold more than 10 rounds between the entry of this Court?s injunction on March 29, 2019 and 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019.?

I hope a bunch of folks took that quick drive out to Laughlin, Nevada this morning to play in the casinos, then hop over to Bullhead and buy a pile of high capacity mags in time to drive back to Cali before 5pm. "Legally acquired, legally possessed, then legally grandfathered-in" while the powers that be figure out how to pull their thumbs out of their.....assets. :twisted:

    Some Dealers and Manufacturers are stating as long as the order is place by 5pm (Pacific) on April 5th 2019.
    And it you have a receipt, that show you purchased the magazines It will show you are in possession of the items and they will be covered by the period July 27 - April 5th (grandfathered), till the Courts make a final decision.

    All my orders have shipped.

    Wonder how many more receipts I could have written ?

    Yep - didn't take long! But just think - all those thousands (millions?) of mags that came in "during" this brief period!

    This is going to be like the "tragic boating accident." All those previously illegal mags came in at 4:59PM April 5, 2019!

    frigging amazing how fast they did it
    why is a federal judge cant be over ruled by the president when he make a law but can be by a AG of a state
    and where were all the pro gun judges when the bumpstock ban came into play several rights were violated but crickets
    I heard today the supreme court even refused to hear any thing about the bumbstock law

    I hope a million magazines were sold in Kaliforina before the 5:00 deadline ( I am sure the retailers were hoping also :D )

    They got off their ass right quick to shut that down. I wonder how many "more" folks are stocked up now?
